Bertrand de Montmollin, Doctor in Biology, is Chair of the Mediterranean Plants Specialist Group (IUCN / SSC). He is involved in many Mediterranean flora conservation projects, especially the IPAMed project (Conserving wild plants and habitats for people in the South and East Mediterranean) and CAREMEDIFLORA (Conservation Actions for Rare and Endangered Island Mediterranean Flora). He is a member of the Mediterranean Hotspot Advisory Committee for the CEPF (Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund).
